How eTIMS Auto-Submission Works
Order is paid
Cashier marks the order as paid (cash, M-PESA, or card). The POS creates a fiscal event.
Auto-submitted to KRA
The invoice is queued and submitted to KRA's eTIMS system automatically. VAT (16%) and CTL (2%) are calculated per item.
Signed receipt prints
KRA returns a digital signature and verification QR code. The signed fiscal receipt prints automatically on your thermal printer.
If KRA is down?
Orders continue normally. Fiscal receipts queue and auto-retry when KRA comes back online. No interruption to your service. The dashboard shows submission status so you always know where things stand.
